Emily Weinstein is an Intern at the Project 2049 Institute. She received her B.A in Asian Studies and International Studies from the University of Michigan. Emily is currently a graduate student in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University, concentrating on U.S. National Security Policy. Her main areas of focus are Sino-U.S. relations and East Asian security and politics, particularly the relationship between China and the Korean Peninsula and the changing dynamics in North Korea. Emily is proficient in Mandarin and Spanish, both of which she has previously taught, and reads basic Korean.
