On December 2, 2022, the U.S. Naval Institute’s Proceedings Podcast interviewed Chairman Randall G. Schriver on “Maintaining Relations in the Indo-Pacific.” Watch or listen to the full podcast below:

Bill Hamblet: … When you talk to audiences about China, about Taiwan, about East Asia, what are the most pressing points you make?

RANDALL SCHRIVER: … The stakes are high. We’re talking about a near peer, great-power rival who has ambitions to undermine the free and open order in the Indo-Pacific, which is the most critical region for us … We try to stress that it is extraordinarily consequential and that requires action on our part, not complacency.
